What’s on at Manchester Art Gallery
Not that you need an excuse to have a day out at Manchester Art Gallery but just in case you’re looking for a good one this Easter, here’s a little taster of what’s on at the moment. Salut!
Shadow Land: Photographs 1983-2011
Roger Ballen’s first solo UK exhibition, showcasing his documentary photography of the South African fringes that later evolved into documentary fiction. Disturbing and repellent? Yes. Fascinating and provocative? Definitely.
The Gallery of Craft and Design
One of the highlights of the art gallery, this space is home to more than 1,300 objects, from furniture and lighting designs to ancient pottery.
The Clore Interactive Gallery
This gallery will turn you into a big kid. Prepare to play!
So who’s inspired to head to the gallery this Easter? Let me know what you think of Shadow Land!
