My vintage tea party

For my 29th birthday, I decided to throw a Harry Potter party (which was fab… take a look at some of the things I made!) and then thought, “why, oh why did I do something so huge for such a non-birthday? How on earth will I top it for my 30th, a birthday that’s actually something of a milestone?”

Well, I don’t know if you’ll agree that a vintage tea party is better than Harry, Hermione and Ron but I certainly had a great time! I made lavender bag bunting, cupcake toppers, my own photo booth props, a cupcake stand and some raspberry-infused vodka (yum, by the way!). Here are a few snaps*.

*Don’t forget to tell me that I don’t look anything like 30 years old! 🙂

Not a day over twenty but the beard helps – tea party looks more fun than toast and marmite.
